The Homeless Challenge Project:
Experiencing Life on the Streets

Crisis Hidden in Plain View

IN GENERAL, it is very difficult for a housed American to ever understand what it might feel like to be homeless. But, millions of Americans know first hand what it means and millions more in the US are at risk of homelessness. So, how do we overcome the separation that divides our brothers and sisters into housed from homeless people?

THE CHALLENGE, is a project that provides our current and future leaders with an experience of a life on the streets. Corporate CEO's, students, civic and religious leaders take a life changing challenge when they commit to spending a series of nights on the streets with our homeless guide.

THE CORPORATE CHALLENGE sets a goal of introducing corporate leaders to a life event far outside their comfort zone and a life changing experience that many have said changed their minds and impacted your thoughts and actions forever. "It's difficult and inspirational. I don't think I'll ever stop sharing this story with others."
