Francine Triplett

Francine was homeless for over 3 ½ years going from park to park.  Francine says that she was protected even better than the president while she slept in Lafayette Park.  She always worked while she was homeless.  After 3 ½ years Francine got off the streets through the help of Calvary Women’s Shelter.

Today Francine has her food handlers license, volunteers at her church and is a vendor with DC’s Homeless newspaper Street Sense!  To hear how Francine became homeless and what she wanted more than anything while homeless, contact Michael O’Neill at moneill@nationalhomeless.org or call NCH at 202-462-4822 x20.
