Brenda Karyl Lee-Wilson

Brenda Karyl Lee-Wilson is 50 years old and began her 4th year of homelessness Labor Day weekend of 2005.  She became homeless due to massive fraud and corruption from the courts in Randall, Pottee and Hutchinson counties located in the Texas panhandle.

In November 2005, Brenda had to euthanise her 12 ½ year old dog Rowdy, who had become a working service dog his last 17 months of life.

Brenda does not suffer from mental, physical or substance abuse problems and because she has no children she is ineligible for government assistance.  Brenda’s faith in God and her courage to stand up against injustices are what enable her to continue daily and onward through the fog.

If you would like to hear Brenda’s entire story please contact Michael O’Neill at mstoops@nationalhomeless.org or call NCH at 202-462-4822 x20.
