The Interfaith Council for the Homeless of Union County

The Interfaith Council for the Homeless is a non-profit organization that assists the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless. It provides emergency shelter through an Interfaith Hospitality Network, transitional and affordable permanent housing, education and other supportive services to promote personal development, independence, and self-sufficiency for its clients. Their newest project is an entrepreneurial job training program, created in collaboration with our clients, called Kandiland Crafts.

Helping Hands Mission, Inc.

Helping Hands Mission, Inc. is a charitable organization set up for the sole purpose to purchase, collect and distribute supplies such as food, clothes, furniture, etc. for children whose parents are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The organization provides pre-purchase counseling, LIFE Program (Low Income Family Empowerment), housing rehabilitation, rental housing for seniors, and environmental services benefiting affordable housing and community development projects.

Interreligious Fellowship for the Homeless
