Homeless: The ACCESS Team
The ACCESS Team (IMT) is a collaboration of citizens, businesses, and
community based organizations who work together to eliminate homelessness,
especially with respect to those persons diagnosed with mental illnesses.

The Good Shepherd Mission
The Good Shepherd Mission provides food, clothing and temporary shelter to indigent locals and transients by serving two hot meals daily, operating a food bank, providing clothing vouchers, free counseling, serving as the Information Hub of Walker County for Human Services (please see the website at www.ipt.com/help/), providing limited prescription and travel aid vouchers. The primary goal and purpose is to give people hope in time of crisis and extreme need. The Mission is a 501-C-3 non profit, private cooperation with board members from local churches. Funding is through churches, Local United Way, businesses, civic clubs, and individuals.
