COTS (The Committee on Temporary Shelter)
COTS has been providing comprehensive services to homeless individuals
and families for over 15 years. COTS offers a wide range of services
including case management, vocational training, immediate referals for
medical and health care, outreach to the streets and encampments, and
transitional and permanent housing. The Mission of COTS is twofold : to
provide for a person's most immediate needs and create lasting solutions
to homelessness and poverty.

Vermont Tenants, Inc.
Vermont Tenants, Inc. is a non-profit agency that
provides counseling, advice, referrals, and advocacy to tenants state-wide. Located in Burlington, Vermont, VTI serves over 2000 people a year through a variety of programs. Some of VTI's services include: advocacy, information, and referrals through the Tenant Line (802-864-0099 or 1-800-287-7971); state-wide workshops for tenants, police officers, universities, social service providers, and other interested groups; publication of the Renting in Vermont handbook, which summarizes Vermont's Landlord-Tenant law.
